With temperatures hitting records in London, the floors in the London Salsa venues have been sizzling, so this week's newsletter starts with a reminder to keep hydrated - drink water between tracks!

Please note that some of the salsa schools in London take a break for August, so it may be worth checking.
Some clubs and classes seem emptier - my take is that if there are fewer in your class, the more personalised attention your teacher can give you - similarly if the dance floor has fewer dancers, you have the opportunity to really show your style.

The Salsa Rapido intensive one day course at Bar Salsa Soho has been the start of the salsa journey for many in London.
This Saturday the start time is 10.30am.

El Bembe, Salsateca's Saturday night party in the City continues till 1am, with salsa and bachata.

Also on Wednesday, Havana Good Time are bringing some Cuban sunshine to Chiswick, with their 15 piece Latin Big Band.

Last Wednesday I was on Gran Canaria - I thoroughly enjoyed my Wednesday night salsa, dancing on the rooftop bar of the BEX hotel in Las Palmas.

London Salsa believes that salsa gives you joy but also thinks that sunflowers make people smile, whilst helping our bee highway, so are delighted to support the Sunflower Gang.
