A frightfully salsa week ahead

Ye Olde town of London transforms over the coming week as many of the clubs and classes take the chance to challenge their patrons (you) to enjoy the Halloween celebrations. When preparing your costumes make sure you are able to dance and from personal experience don't use cheap face makeup unless you want to end up all streaky.

Ghostly dancerAs in a standard week, if a strange ghost or a vampire asks you for a dance, say yes and experience a magical minute or 5.

Not everywhere is themed, so do check out LondonSalsa.co.uk to see which parties will be festooned with glowing pumpkins and witches around their cauldrons.

Hear the ghoulish echo of my message that the events and lessons that appear in this newsletter are merely a miniscule speck of the fun that can be discovered on our site along with our spiders web of related sites, such as ukdance.events .

This Saturday's choice of big salsa nights out include the Godalming Halloween Salsa party, the Putney last Saturday night of the month party plus Salsatricity's combined 12th birthday with a halloween bash in Barnet.

Brand new to the London salsa scene is Salsa Kings Cross, where Streetbeat offer their successful Salsa Rapido method of learning to dance in a fun manner.
Salsa on Monday at Bar Salsa, Temple

Next to the river, Bar Salsa Temple offers salsa and bachata on Monday and Tuesday nights, with lessons from 7pm and dancing till late.
Bachata on Wednesday
If bachata is your bag, then Wednesday night in Aldgate with Tamara's ladies styling lessons?

Bar Salsa Wednesday Metrolatina
The capital's longest running salsa club night, including lessons and party till 2pm remains Metrolatina at Bar Salsa Soho on Wednesdays.

For your Diaries this month

Sunday 7th November - Live salsa band night in Richmond

Saturday 13th November - Start of Swing out and Shimmy courses in Covent Garden

Saturday 13th November - Pexava Salsa Social in Holborn

Sunday 14th November - Mambalsa Autumn Workshop at Bar Salsa Soho

If that isn't enough salsa to enthuse you to have a devilishly delicious weekend of dance, followed by blood pumping week of lessons then I urge you to pop onto the site.

As always, if you think something is missing, then get your favourite teacher or promoter to add it free of charge.

Dancing this week is so important as it will raise your spirits,
