As the author for many years, my apologies for its absence in the last couple of weeks.
My trip to SE Asia uncovered salsa in Bangkok, Saigon and Spring Salsa in Hanoi, where there was an excellent dance floor, good DJ, friendly locals saying yes to a dance and high quality salsa, bachata and kizomba.

Back to reality and www.londonsalsa.co.uk is the listing site that works for dancers, musicians, promoters and DJs because it is powered by them.  The more they put into it the better it works.  So please encourage your favourite teachers to add their events and feel free to contact me if you think there is anything more we can adapt to give everyone an even more rounded salsa experience.

Most people start with two left feet, learn gradually with an hour or two each week, or take an intensive course. We learn something from each session, whether that is a lesson or simply social dancing. There isn't a right way to dance but there are bad practices. Enjoy the journey through the levels, learn and share what you learn, but only when asked. 

As with all weeks, we try to get a little something in the newsletter for all levels of dancer, both cuban and crossbody, a mix of bachata and kizomba plus a little something extra.

Que Rico, in Balham, is the monthly salsa party this Friday.

Over in Stratford, DJ Hughie is on the decks for the Frist Friday party at the Outpost.

For Saturday evening, those in the south will enjoy the salsa, bachata and kizomba, on the perfect dance floor of Lakeside, in Frimley Green, with Salsa Esperienza.

For those in North London, Saturday night in Highgate, brings Latin salsa and mambo.

Five hours of expert salsa tuition in a single day, so you get beyond the basics sooner and better, are available at Bar Salsa in Soho this Sunday.

Salsa Rapido one day courses start around 10.45am.
It is worth contacting the host in advance, as they try to ensure equal numbers of leaders and followers.

Put the 29th of March in your diary for the Essex Latin Masquerade Spring Ball, combining salsa, bachata and kizomba for over 10 hours of lessons and social in Harlow.
