<Hi

Welcome new members and welcome back regular London Salsa newsletter readers.

Our only reason for existing is to make sure you can plan your salsa journey.  Our aim is to provide quality information about the salsa classes, courses, parties, workshops, clubs and band nights in and around London.

Everyone starts as a beginner. We all have to learn the basics and beyond.
An intensive course?
A 4-6 week course?
Drop in lessons?
Only you know the best way for you to learn.

Yes it can be a good idea to start with a friend but lots of people start lessons without a partner and, in fact, that can be better, as everyone learns at a different rate and you genuinely can create lasting friendships.

September/October is a great time to learn, as you can pick up all the skills you need to be impressive and add fun to your office festive celebrations and the big party season in London.

If you know someone who is planning to Go Sober for October for Macmillan Cancer support, why not suggest learning to dance as an ideal distraction? Not only will they add one of life's great skills, they'll meet new friends, improve their fitness whilst simultaneously raising funds for the Macmillan Cancer Trust.

I have written this newsletter every week for the past 8 years.
Last week I posted a personal statement that I hope you will take time to read.

The site is filled with a myriad of choices and opportunities, so this newsletter merely acts to titivate your anticipation. It sets a scene so to speak. With activities every day and in virtually every borough, we simply highlight some of the special offers, the bigger events, the venues you may like to dance at.

Remember to use your personal scrapbook if you want memories of the people you've met, your favourite teachers and monthly parties.

I must give you warning that we may be downgrading some of our functionality over the next couple of weeks, so advise making a note perchance we have to be offline for a few hours.  I'm told that the Global Dance Card app will still be able to find activity details.
