Royally good Salsa parties this week in London

<Hi

Make sure your bunting is up early for the royal wedding and your flag fully unfurled for the FA Cup final  because you are going to need your energy for a fabulous week of salsa in London.

Not that I trust weather forecasters, but we are in for a gloriously summery weekend, so my advice is for you to remember to keep well hydrated, take a change of clothes and remember to stay fresh.  Those suggestions are not just for the royal couple but obviously all people planning to dance this weekend.

If you have been taking midweek lessons, at any level, this week, then I encourage you to either go out and social dance this weekend to practice your new skills or take an extra workshop to polish up a particular element. Yes I know that many of us look at the lessons as a chance to meet new people or to burn off a few pounds or even become part of something that is good for our physical and mental health but I urge you to double up and double the fun.

We list 100s of party nights, courses, drop in classes and so much more.  They all don't fit in the newsletter, so please do go to LondonSalsa.co.uk for even more.

Putney Friday night salsa lessons and socialFriday night option this week include salsa lessons and a social in Putney - Free Salsa Class for first time beginners when you quote LS126

The late night option is provided in El Grande in Kings Cross, where there are 4 rooms of salsa, kizomba and bachata with 10 DJs and 10 lessons before the party continues till 5am

In East London, DJ Hughie is at the decks at Theatre Royal, Stratford, this Saturday and there is a Salsa Fusion party till 2am on Great Portland Street, which starts with a lesson from Mina Queensalsa.

In Guildford there is a Reggaeton style party.

Claim £2 off Sunday's live band night in Richmond. NB it is an early start early finish but suspect it'll be a fab evening with a setting sun over the Thames and Elpidio on vocals.

If you've never tried SOS near Russell Sq on a Sunday, then check out listing for a special offer.

Hosts are responsible for their lesson and party listings, so if you think there is something missing or inaccurate on LondonSalsa.co.uk, please ask your teachers and party promoters to amend.

Most the teachers refresh their listings regualrly - you can discover which by musing over the list for each day.

This week, the newsletter is deliberately short of lesson information, as we have a a bank holiday coming up and I want to make sure that you have something fun to look forward to, with some special offers in your pocket, so your £ goes futher.

Live on Thursday in Shepherds Bush, combining reggaeton with Cuban son and other music of the Caribbean, Gente de Zona, are well known with the singles Si no Vuelves and their collaboration with Jennifer Lopez with one of the biggest hits of last summer on Ni Tu, Ni Yo.

A Rock'n'Roll Circus is coming to town.. ...everything seems to be ready.... ...is everyone ready for the Rollin Stoned in Richmond on June 1st.

If you are one of the chosen and going to the Royal wedding, please give the couple our best wishes and make sure all the guests enjoy at least one highly paced salsa.

Wishing all a happy week of dance,

Leigh and the LondonSalsa Team
