A hot week of salsa in London

<Hi

January is an exciting month in the world of salsa in London as the classes and clubs fill with enthusiastic students and those who are returning to the floor for friendship or health. Luckily for all, London Salsa, as part of the A2Z.Events network, is here to support each and every one of you, hopefully introducing the very best teachers and night spots.

Each week 1000s of people visit our site whilst we try our hardest to ensure each visit results in what you are looking for. To do this, we rely upon the teachers and promoters to keep their lessons and events up to date. If you know a host that isn't up to date on site, give them a nudge to list for free.

We also rely upon you to add your own positive reviews, so that others know what to expect. If you have enjoyed learning or love a venue, why not help others to find what they are looking for by adding a comment or by facebook liking the pages.  After all, if you are having some fun, why not let others know?

Luxury fance retreat in France - quote GDC for £100 off

Every week this newsletter highlights some of the best bits that the promoters ask us to but be assured that there are 100s of possible things to do. Check the drop in lessons, the structured courses, the big party nights, the band nights, the congresses and the holidays (see the luxury dance retreat in France above - it comes with a £100 discount when you quote GDC). And most of all tell friends, colleagues and family where you found these great occasions.

Putney salsa and bachata

The Putney Club on a Friday is definitely the place to be, attracting dancers from miles around, classes in bachata and salsa and a good vibe for social dancing.

El Grande is back this week in Kings Cross with 4 rooms of salsa, bachata, kizomba and Cuban, 1000+ dancers, finishing at 5am. Friday evening starts with the choice of 10 classes.

Do you fancy a free entry Friday night out in Stratford, East London, where you can dine and/or drink to the fabulous rhythms of classic soul, Neo Soul, Funk, Jazz-funk and Latin music with DJ Hughie?

Finchley, Barnet Salsatricity, dalsa, bachata and kizomba

For Saturday, Salsatricity offers salsa, kizomba and bachata lessons before the party night in Totteridge.  A short walk to the night tube means you really can have a great night out and get home again.

Also on Saturday night there is a Salsa Fusion night in Great Portland Street with 2 rooms of salsa and a late night finish.

i2i Travelling salsa workshop in Bar Salsa Soho

Travelling – large movements across the dance floor gives salsa an amazing dynamism. Through  slides and glides there’s heaps of fun to be had moving off the spot. So break on through to the other side of the dance floor and take the 5hr i2i Travelling workshop this Sunday at Bar Salsa in Soho.

Party the night away to the live salsa band on Sunday at Richmond's number one Salsa venue.

Midweek, every week, you can find 100s of lessons all over London and the south east.
Many offer special prices to London Salsa members, like you. To take advantage and raise your skill levels and thus your enjoyment on the social dance floors, why not enjoy the drop in classes or even take a course? Look for the stars to discover the special offers.

The reason that we do all of this free of charge is that we ourselves are dancers and have discovered all the social and health benefits. However it does cost real money to keep the site going. So this week I have a big ask. Do any of you work at companies who may be willing to add a bit of sponsorship?
We would be happy to add a little banner on to the site as a thank you, especially if other members may enjoy it. Perhaps your company have a special offer that our members could benefit from?

Please do drop us a line at missioncontrol@a2z.events if you have a suggestion on how we could do better. The site is really your site and we want it to work perfectly for you.

Dance well,

Leigh and the London Salsa team
