Retro’ Solo Dancing
If you enjoy Vintage social dancing events but prefer solo dancing or want to keep fit with uplifting toe tapping music this Dance classes are for you!
 With or without dance experience, get more confident with your dancing skills and Freestyle.
You will learn or improve basic footwork with dance sequences and steps of Original Social dances.
Starting with the easy to follow “Electric Slide” Stroll, follow by the “Shim Sham” and the 1920 “Charleston Stroll” with it’s iconic moves and variations, progressing to faster pace flick kicks and turns for the Jive and Rock’n’ Roll routines and finally have fun with the 60’s “Twist”.
With different music styles including: Hot Jazz, Swing, Rhythm & Blues, Funk, Rock.
Each class will include: Musicality & Keeping Time exercises, space awareness & improvisation skills. Variations of steps and moves will be given.
Energetic, expressive and fun!

Price: £ 40 full workshop or £15 drop in class
