On Friday night, the weekend begins with salsa workshops and a dance party.
Get ready for an explosion of salsa workshops on Saturday, with a chance to experience the best of Brighton’s nightlife at the Copacabana Club, with dance classes and partying to the wee hours. On Sunday, there are all day workshops to look forward to, finishing around 5pm.
With instruction in small, friendly groups, our Copacabana Cuban Salsa holiday is right for you whatever your level of experience. The step by step workshop programme is designed to go at your pace, with plenty of opportunties for revision, repetition, along with freestyle practice during the day and evening parties.
Hosts Leo Henriquez and Lee Knights bring together a unique blend of teaching experience and dance backgrounds, geared to helping you grow as a dancer. Born in Cuba, Leo Henriquez is both a musician and dancer, while London born Lee Knights is an experienced instructor, salsa musicality specialist and co-author of “Find the Rhythm – The Dancers’ Guide to Salsa Music”.
The holiday includes hotel accommodation, breakfast and dinner, a full dance pass, including all workshops and parties.
